The son of a pastor and having a mother and sister who are both singers, it is no wonder Claude Deuce's debut CD is of such quality. This set is the first from a man who is no stranger to the gospel scene having written or produced top line acts like Dietrick Haddon, Tonex and Canton Jones. The CD celebrates a fresh new talent with "Math" using mathematics to demonstrate some points about life with Christ. An unusual lyric which works well. The CD contains an array of stylistic approaches with the funky "Got That Stuff" already getting airplay (even though one critic took umbrage at its 'name it and claim it' theology). "It Ain't Over" is an uplifting track that will find favour with all people not matter what age. Claude is a master of music and he writes, plays several musical instruments and has a sinuously soulful voice. His vocals are at their best on "The Word" where he sings with so much passion for his desire to have the Word of God. All in all, an excellent debut from the Georgia-based church elder and minister of music.
