After a handful of albums, Cindy Morgan presents us with a “best of” compilation that takes us from the synth-driven, pop title track of her debut project ‘Real Life’ through more mature inspirational pop songs that have become her signature like “Take My Life” and “praise The King”. As you’d expect, it’s all here, as well as a couple of new songs to entice fans who own this lot to buy the compilation. Actually, one of those new songs is a sax-soaked cover of one of my all-time favourite songs, Todd Rungren’s “Love Is The Answer” so this does the business for me! I’m sold! Not well known here, but possessing a flexible voice and Cindy wraps her tonsils round the soulful inspirational stuff in an effective manner, and “Sweet Days Of Grace” is one of those instant poppy things that immediately grabs your soul. If you’ve not checked her out thus far, here’s the ideal chance to get the story so far and be inspired in an American Nashville CCM sort of way. Not bad at all.
