Although the heading praise and worship isn't one that is still used in Cross Rhythms classifications I'm sure that everybody reading knows just what style of music is meant by the expression. If you are into worship leaders such as like Matt Redman, Tim Hughes and the old Soul Survivor live recordings then the sound of this CD will be very familiar. Undoubtedly Chris, Jennie and the band, who are all part of the worship team at Ichthus Christian Fellowship, are very talented musicians, singers and writers and it wouldn't surprise me one bit if we hear a lot more from them in future. Sadly whilst they make all the right sounds perfectly on this CD the major drawback is that even after several listens if I'm honest I can't remember a single song from the formulaic worship material presented here. No doubt there are church members at Ichthus who would strongly disagree.
