Since Cheri Keaggy's first release ('Child Of The Father') she has built a steady string of strong material which has resulted in nine number ones and a Dove Award Stateside. Strangely though, in recent times Cheri seems to have fallen off the radar. This collection is drawn from her releases from the '90s but ignores her 2001 album 'Let's Fly', and to my mind highlights the best songs from that period, including "Little Boy On His Knees", "Open My Heart" both from 'Child Of The Father', and "In Remembrance Of Me" from 'My Faith Will Stay'. A useful compilation if you don't have Cheri's original albums. Cheri has recently announced the launch of her own label. While you're waiting for Cheri's return you might want to investigate this cheap 'n' cheerful compilation.

Stuff from 'Let's Fly' doesn't make this Sparrow/EMI
compilation because the album was distributed by Word. Her
new album 'Because He First Loved us', on her new label,
Psalm 91 Records, releases June 12, 2007 Stateside, I'm
sure that Admiral Cummings will get a copy real soon!
