A sensitive ballad, written in response to the events in the USA on September 11, and Charity has captured rather well the mood of the moment. The song uses many Biblical references, and underlying everything is the promise that hope will rise from the ashes of despair if we put our trust in the one who holds everything in the palm of his hand. So, theologically sound, but technically not quite so good. Charity sings with just a piano accompaniment, and there seems to be a bit of distortion on the vocals; also, the range of the song covers a couple of octaves, which means that she struggles a little to pitch some of the lower notes accurately. It's a good song, but I think it could be better with a bit of proper production.
