2003's 'Throne Room' album in its original form, with its classy blending of gospel elements into lush, string-filled inspirational balladry has already become a major sales success. Ordered in two parts Songs Of Worship And Reflection and Songs Of Praise And Adoration the album demonstrates the singer at the top of her interpretative powers while the title song, co-penned with crossover gospel patriarch Andrae Crouch will be heard for many a long year. To that album the compilers have added a DVD of 2004's 'Live In The Throne Room' video which offers slick renditions of some of the 'Throne Room' songs as well as others like "Everlasting Love", "I Am" and "Alabaster Box". If you are blessed by CeCe's MOR-tinged take on gospel, the diva performs with consummate professionalism here.
