This album has already received a 10-square review, which is well deserved, so this review will just deal with the extra content offered with the Dual Disc. The DVD side of this release features the full album in stereo and in 5.1 surround. Surround sound music has the capacity to offer more involvement for the listener, enveloping them within the mix, but in this case it is wholly disappointing. The surround mix is boring and basic, and has been terribly mastered, with overall volume levels dipping and rising at all the wrong moments: for example, as the band gets more energetic, the DVD reduces its level. Thankfully the video content and the stereo content do not suffer this infuriating trait. There are three videos of songs performed live, which are good to see, but the band are less interesting to watch than the music would suggest. The story of the band's ministry is particularly interesting though, and is inspiring to know that such motivational hearts are behind the music. Judging the DVD content alone, this package would receive just six squares. But seeing as all the DVD content is virtually free of charge compared to the basic CD's cost, this could be just the encouragement needed to discover one of the most sincere rock-worship bands of the century.
