Mike Rimmer's enthusiasm for Caroline's rock chick sensibilities (see the review of Caroline's previous single "Fake The Blame/Hong Kong Garden" in CR61) and again this shows all the gutsy, gritty passion. This time producer Dave Lynch coaxes a truculent vocal over go-for-the-throat guitars on "Don't Need You" though it's her reading of the Split Level classic "Healed" which really caught my ear. All Caroline needs is the right song and she could be catapulted to the Big Time. In the meantime, check this out.
