This set from the Texas-based harmonisers gets off to a strong start with "God's Got A Better Plan", a simple song but possessing a powerful message for all believers. This sets the tone for a high quality release of 13 original songs, full of meaning and deep spiritual truths. With the capable singing of this fine group we have a nice mix of music that is really easy to listen to. I was simply moved almost to tears by the lyric "When He Was On The Cross I was On His Mind". With other titles as "A Place Called Grace", "Living For Heaven" and "Weep No More" to name but a few, this is an eminently listenable album from start to finish. There is strong musical accompaniment, combining some nice guitar and piano touches with an orchestral backing that actually enhances the whole sound. Too often I think such a lush backing tends to drown out the vocals but that is certainly not the case here, giving the whole album a very fresh sound. But I suppose that is made easier when you actually have such top quality vocalists as Mathew Hagee and the incomparable bass voice of Tim Duncan.
