This DVD comprises a Bryan Duncan live show from 2004 and a charming documentary exploring his songwriting techniques and Rehab Radio, a radio show Duncan records to encourage listeners struggling with addictions and those on the road to recovery. The band are on top form, as is Duncan's soulful voice - the set is heavy on fun and funk and has mercifully few slow numbers, ending with an inspired cover of McCartney's "Maybe I'm Amazed". Duncan is refreshingly honest about himself and his shortcomings, making the whole concert seem accessible and down to earth. Although the sound quality occasionally dips, and the pixelly DVD transfer is nothing to shout about, the show is very entertaining and Duncan is a host that the viewer quickly warms to. If anything, 10 songs in 55 minutes means that the main event feels a little short but for fans of one of CCM's great blue-eyed soul men this is an enjoyable memento.
