Brook has worked with a number of bands over the years including Berzerkers, Simplex and Fear God. Here he offers his three songs in Thumper Punk's acoustic series with help from Kat Ferguson (vocals) and Kent Z (electric guitar). Brook has a bluesy voice which suits the songs and sparse backing very well. The three songs here do not short change, each one delivering the musical goods. "Baby You're Mine' is extremely contagious (in a good way!), "Birds Of A Feather" is a foot tapping acoustic guitar feast, while "Fly Away" is a touching song in raising children where daughter Gracie steals the lime light from Dad. Very low key but in its own way excellent.
