The second album from Bright City - a collective of singers, musicians and writers from St Peter's Church in Brighton - builds upon the success of the group's well-received debut album and is full of inventive and innovative dance-orientated worship that thrills as well as inspires. Having the calibre of someone like Martin Smith on the team obviously helps but full credit must go to everyone involved for offering up something that succeeds in breaking away from the formulaic worship albums that flood the market at this moment in time. Proceedings kick off the ethereal electronica of "Maker Of The Moon" - an ode to the creator of the universe with a striking vocal from Elle-Anna Smith - whilst the thumping "You Are The One Thing" and the explosive "Your Love" are genuinely great dance tracks that hone in on God's faithfulness. No less stirring, the powerful slow build lament of "Come Holy Spirit" (co-written with Canadian CCM star Matt Maher) and the initially gentler "Rock Of Our Salvation" take the pace down a notch and add further aspects to this already multi-faceted and simply stunning release.

Product Description
Bright City's story is one of a brave family of artists set free to serve God, serve their Church and serve their City.
St Peters Church was planted in 2009 in Brighton, a city on England's south coast bursting with creativity and life. Graphic designers, illustrators and artists, sculptors, dancers and photographers - Brighton is a thriving, artistic melting pot with a world-renowned music scene. Home to everyone from Adele and Fatboy Slim to buskers and university music students, it's a city that the church wanted to engage with as well as meet the needs of.
Archie and Sam Coates (Vicar of St Peters) positioned worship at the centre of church life and established St Peters as a chaplaincy to the city's many artists.
Creatives were drawn to the church, including songwriters Matt Redman (10,000 Reasons, Blessed Be Your Name), Martin Smith (Delirious?, Majesty, Waiting Here For You), and a new generation of producers, musicians and song-writers.
Bright City has been established as a family of artists (across music, dance, production and visual arts) who serve and lead the worship life of St Peters and unite around a vision to see the church, city and world come alive through worshipping Jesus.
