Scottish American singer/songwriter Bob Kilpatrick is of course a giant of ministry and music who has produced timeless worship songs and at least one classic album (2006's 'This Changes Everything') down the years. But here Bob has succumbed to making that cringe-worthy Christmas album with its mix of Christmas favourites and well worn carols. Bravely he even tries to play that classic choral piece "O Come O Come Emmanuel" in a rootsy, guitar-driven way but unfortunately produces an artistic travesty. It's a relief when you get to the end of this album. Many hugely talented artists have delivered poor Christmas albums in the past. Here is another one.
