I never caught Blissed's appearance at the Destruction Festival awhile back which is a shame as now that Stryper are back and gigging/recording presumably drummer Robert Sweet folded this short-lived group. They left behind this pretty good album from 2003 which, though never reaching classic heights, has a nice fusion of sounds taking in elements of hardcore, thrash and nu metal. Lead singer David Pearson has a nice line in throat shredding vocals, there's some excellent axe work from Trevor Barr and the title track, with its anthemic chorus, could have been a hard music hit if it had got the radio play. One for collectors to search out.
