What a nice classic album to enjoy! The 5 minute starter
song for side 2 is a song that will go down in ccm/gospel
history. I just love "It is Finished";
what a crafted song!: thank you Bill & Gloria,
GOD Bless you! I missed not hearing this song on "The Very
Best of the Very Best". Another ccm artist, Scott Wesley
Brown, would have a song by the same title for his 1984
Best: recorded in about half the time. This would be the
last album to include Bill's late brother Dan; Gary
McSpadden would replace him. Side 1 starter is a highly
favored song, "Songs that Answer Questions"; the songs of
the Bill Gaither Trio were such an inviting sound into any
household or church during the 70's decade. I really like
how Bill conveyed GOD's creation in "Eyes Have Not Seen,
Ears Have Not Heard; if GOD made the earth and all creation
in 6 days, imagine what He has been doing the last 2000
years! Gloria's recitation on "Peace Shall Come" is just
wonderful!as only it could be; I just love this song
immensely!
What a moving rendition of Gary Paxton's "He Was There All
The Time". Every song is worth a compliment on this classic
70's recording; this lp is fuel for the soul. GOD Bless! -
