I would love to find this on cd like this! This is the best
of the Trio with the late Danny Gaither , quite a collective
and memorable 20 song set. This is a gatefold 2 record set,
featuring songs spanning
from 1969-1976.
"The King is Coming" starts off side 1 from 1971: I have
always loved "Something Beautiful" from same year. How
often have we all heard "He Touched Me" sung in Sunday
morning church; even Elvis also recorded the song: from the
Trio's first 1969 album.
The nearly 6 minute well known "Because He Lives"
was definitely a sure song to be included. I have a
video of the late Danny Gaither singing the awesome
classic "There's Just Something About That Name".
"The Old Rugged Cross Made The Difference" is such
as beautifully penned song. Their 1976 "Praise" album
features the masterpiece "It Is Finished"; if you have
not heard this song, you are missing out!
From their 1973 grammy winning album title song,
"Let's Just Praise The LORD", another I love.
Every song deserves a favorable comment, we are so
blessed to have the songs of Bill and Gloria Gaither;
Thank you two so much, you and your God-sent songs are so
loved! GOD Bless! - Don
ps. Thank you Maxine and Tony Cummings who
continue to contribute this music, GOD Bless you!
