Aryn is a country-orientated singer/songwriter from Dallas, Texas who was named Female Songwriter/Artist Of The Year at the 2014 GMA Immerse Conference. On this, her debut album, she duets with renowned singer/songwriter Derek Webb fellow Immerse Records label mate Sean Carter. Aryn has a very powerful voice and she is not afraid to use it to deliver songs on a variety of serious Christian truths, starting with the very commendable concept of "The Narrow Gate", through to songs about "Moses", "The Road To Heaven" and the title track, putting these strong Christian truths to music is a most commendable effort. The only problem with the album is that the backing is over complicated and detracts from the strong Christian message that the album seeks to promote. But no doubt there will be many who will admire Aryn's songwriting craft.
