Antioch Live is the worship expression of Antioch Community Church in Waco, Texas and features a team of worship leaders though it seems the church are reluctant to tell us of who precisely they are. 'It Is Finished' is Antioch's third release and sees them working with noted producer Jeremy Edwardson (Jesus Culture, Kari Jobe); they aim to combine elements of progressive rock and pop with strains of folk, but always embody a local-church familiarity. The opening track "Shout Shout" begins with an audience round of applause before launching into an uptempo hand clapping, pop-based anthem. The message is not profound but it is heartfelt. The second song "Free Forever" is very much in the same vein with a lyric about finding true freedom in surrendering to Christ. "To You Be The Glory" is my favourite track and comes closest to contributing something unique for Antioch Live while elsewhere songs too closely resemble acts like Delirious? and Casting Crowns.
