There's only a certain amount of time to do justice to a review and as I approach the deadline I hear on UCB what may be the most played track by Aaron and Jeoffrey Benward, "He Is", in which the various names of God are taken from the books of the Bible. I'm not properly familiar with what AJ have done before but this is a polished album, using two producers, mainly Paul Mills but also Mark Hammond, and several writers, mainly Jeff Silvey and Lowell Alexander. The opportunity to hear AJ at some length conjures shades of Russ Taff and Steven Curtis Chapman. The album rocks in with the title track and contains a variety of pace and style. Lyrically, it lays out positive reflections on the Christian life, especially in the trials, with themes such as making it count ("Leave A Legacy") and being ready ("Unexpected Guest"). Perhaps my favourite track is "Jericho Faith" ("makes the walls come down"). Can I add that Jeoffrey completes his thanks with "And to Christian radio - the true pioneers of Christian music - for all you do, thank you."

The third helping from father & son team released in October 1997. The songs reach to a higher level of ccm sound and quality without disappointment. Starter song & cd title is prime example, great chorus. I love Jericho Faith, this is top notch ccm, I agree with the review writers. Stranger has some great ccm sound & lyrics.
Aaron adds his pen to help create some awesome & great ccm songs. Jeoffrey is credited on 2 songs.
John Andrew Schreiner's keyboard talents bring about the best in the song Heal Me.
Scott Krippaynne who was just getting his feet wet i the ccm scene co wrote Unexpected Guest.
Every song deserves a compliment, unfortunately we are limited to comment lengths. Great chorus for Healing Flood, and a great song for ccm radio.
once again, the piano talents of John Andrew Schreiner close the songset on Across The Miles.
It reminds me of the Irish Blessing, May The Road Rise To Meet You. God bless, Don
