Anyone who heard the band's "The Day" on last issue's Cross Rhythms Experience will know what to expect - rock so ferociously heavy that for many fans it might better be classified metal. This Midlands team revolve around guitarist/singer/songwriter Paul May and his songs go for the jugular. Particularly impressive is 'For sale' lashing the heresies of health and wealth TV preachers and "Babylon", an apocalyptic vision of an adulterous city. Some truly searing guitar solos from Paul and a meaty rhythm sound make this an album for all ears tuned to heavy. The attention-grabbing sleeve and Paul's Christian testimony inside will raise an eyebrow with A.N.D.'s mainstream fans.
