A snappy little single release with some tracks taken from their about-to-be-released album 'A Golden Field Of Radioactive Crows', mainly featuring "Related" in two mixes - a straight pop mix and then a rather vibey remix built around a pretty strong drum loop and some excellent guitar work. The approach is poppier than their previous recordings but no less accomplished. There's a live recording of "Tattoo" from a couple of years ago which features characteristic shards of guitar and passionate vocals from Mike Roe. "Dialogue" sees Mike Roe interview himself about his band in post modern ironic fashion - very amusing. "Mr Magoo" pins its '60s pop influences firmly to the mast and works really well. Finally, the single has a version of the old Daniel Amos classic "Shotgun Angel" faithfully reproduced in country style! A curiosity but again only adding to the charms of the single and as for me, having had my appetite whetted with the single, I want to hear the whole album!
