This album, which originally came out privately in 1988 and which initially missed mention in the 77's discography in CR15, was recorded live at The Warehouse, Sacramento. It's a bluesy, boisterous gem full of all the grit, passion and attitude long associated with Mike Roe and his cohorts. After some old favourites like "I Can't Get Over It" and "The Lust, The Flesh, The Eyes And The Pride Of Life" the set storms to a heart stopping climax with three mega-length renditions of "Mercy Mercy", "You Don't Scare Me" and "I Could Laugh" which between them last for over 35 minutes of cathartic, head to the sky rock. Maybe only some Sacramento club goers knew then but the 77s were, and are, one of the finest rock bands ever to sit on a riff.
