Mission commitment demonstrated on new worship project by IGWT
A UNIQUE worship and mission project has been put together by the lead singer of Scottish rock band Superhero, Tim Cheshire. IGWT is a collection of musicians and missionaries from around the world. Explained Cheshire, "My band Superhero have been talking about making a worship album for a few years now. We are, and always have been, focused on mission, reaching young people through music, so that is the style of music we write and play, for that audience. However, we wanted to record some songs we had written and so called upon many friends from all around the world to help us make the record and in the process a community of like-minded people evolved, people who are committed mission and have a love for worship but more importantly understand that mission and worship are not things but lifestyles, they go hand in hand and one can never work without the other. We are committing 100 per cent of the profits from the sales of the record to mission, in particular mission to young people. We all just fell in love with the idea that the money we spend on purchasing worship songs should be given to support mission! Seems like a great idea to us and we are very excited about this." IGWT's 'In God We Trust' is launched on 28th November and is available through www.music4mission.com.
