Seattle's Pacific Gold release "repurposed hymn"
SEATTLE-based indie rock band Pacific Gold have a single, "Dear Refuge Of My Weary Soul", released by BC Music, the label owned by two members of the band Emery. Pacific Gold, formerly known as Wayfarer, have been heralded for their "repurposed hymns": all of their lyrics come from old hymns, but the melodies are new.
