Legendary Los Angeles concert of the '70s to be featured in new DVD.

FOR THE FIRST time a DVD is being planned of the biggest soul and gospel concert ever staged, the legendary Wattstax. Filmed at Los Angeles Rams football stadium on 20th August 1972 as well as such R&B giants as Isaac Hayes, Albert King and Rufus Thomas, the concert, recorded for two live albums by Stax Records and showcased in a cinema film, also featured a bevy of gospel acts including the Rance Allen Group, the Staple Singers and the Emotions. CR
