Soul Survivor event at Watford football club attracted 5000 people
NEARLY 5000 people gathered at the Watford football ground for a Christian concert recently. The event organized by Soul Survivor featured worship led by Matt Redman, a performance from the World Wide Message Tribe and teaching from Gerald Coates. At the end of the event, about 100 people became Christians. Commented organiser Mike Pilavachi: "The evening was an expression of the growing unity developing between Soul Survivor and the Tribe who in one sense could not be more different in ethos and musical style and yet have the same heart to reach the marginalised young people of our nation with the gospel. It was also a privilege to have Gerald Coates, who has been a great encouragement and friend to both ministries behind the scenes." Next year, Pilavachi says he hopes to organize a similar event.
