Atlanta worship leader Aaron Shust gets distribution into the US mainstream.

A SINGER, songwriter and worship leader from Atlanta, Georgia, Aaron Shust is currently receiving mainstream distribution in the USA and has already landed the same management team that represents Amy Grant and Michael W Smith. Aaron's debut album 'Anything Worth Saying' is released on the independent label Brash Music. Shust told CCM magazine how he landed his record deal, "I'd been leading worship full time at my church for a few years when a volunteer on one of the teams offered to front the recording of some of my praise songs in a studio he was building in his basement. Six months later, we spent about 25 days recording, made a couple thousand copies and, one month later, my producer handed a copy to Brash's owner as an afterthought. (He was pitching some of the mainstream bands he had recorded, and McQ, the owner, was rather taken by the music on my album. It actually took him a while to realise that I was singing these songs to God!)"
