Australian-born Michelle Tumes returns with self-titled album
HIGHLY acclaimed songstress Michelle Tumes will release her self-titled
fourth studio album on Levantar/Infinity in the US on 14th November.
The 11-song album features such tracks as "Introit", "Domine" and
"Fair Weather". Singer/songwriter Tumes not produced the album but
also conducted the orchestra. Special guests on the project include
bassist Leeland Sklar (Phil Collins), rhythm master Vinnie Coliauta
(Sting) and percussionist Bernie Dressel (Brian Setzer). Tumes
collaborated on writing "Domine" with Peter Vetesse (Annie Lennox,
Jethro Tull) and wrote "Far" and "Gypsy Heart" with Stuart Brawley
(Brandy, The Coors).
I'm glad she's got a new album coming out. The way Sparrow records treated her really did suck.
