CCM band Sidewalk Prophets lose 100K gear in trailer fire
THE CCM band Sidewalk Prophets, who currently have the Cross Rhythms radio hit "Something Different", lost $100,000 of gear when there trailer caught on fire while travelling from Texarkana to Amarillo on the opening weekend of their Something Different Tour of the US. Fans and supporters are now contributing to a GoFundMe page set up to help the band get back all the equipment lost in the fire. Read a band statement, "We are thanking God band family (band/crew) are all accounted for and safe. This is one of the scariest moments in our 16 years as a band. We believe that there is a darkness that would desire to slow us down, shut us up, and fill us with fear and we are resolved to continue the work we've been called. We are committed to the cause of Christ and will do everything in our power to continue playing shows, writing songs, sharing unconditional love and hope across the country and world."
