The Harvesters, Tony Goodacre, Kingdom Bound and many others for 2015 Convention
THE ANNUAL UK event that focusses on country, Southern gospel and easy listening music, The Whitby Gospel Music Convention, is due to take place at Whitby Pavilion, North Yorkshire, from 15th to 17th May. The event is organised by Paul Wheater, sometimes known as "Yorkshire's Jim Reeves" and due to appear are "Britain's Mr Country Music," Tony Goodacre; the group from Shetland, The North Ness Boys; the Southern gospel group from the Hillcrest Recordings stable, Kingdom Bound; country gospel singer Samuel Purdy; the renowned Irish harmony group The Harvesters; the old-time family group The Ayrton Family Gospel Group; the brass band The Stockton Citadel Salvation Army Band; the family group originally from India now based in Scotland, The Sunbeam Singers; and the seven-piece group from Northern Ireland, the Amen Gospel Praise Band.
