Coventry band [dweeb] win talent search heat.

ZANEY rock team from Coventry [dweeb] won the fifth and final heat of The Ultimate Showcase, the national Christian music talent search. The event was held at Melton Mowbray Baptist Church in Leicestershire on 12th February. Approximately 80 people attended. The other participants were popular Leeds band Beautiful Feet and nu-metal group Sneek.

[dweeb] will now go through to the final of the Ultimate Showcase, to be held at Air Birmingham on 24th April with previous heat winners The 29th Chapter, Acquitted, Soulcry and Luma. Also appearing at the event will be last year's winners Supervision and popular band Mowglee. The winner of the Ultimate Showcase will perform as the opening act at Alton Towers The Ultimate Event as well as receiving recording time in a top studio, album designs and a video of their single. CR
