House Of Heroes cover Jackson Browne song

THE SONG "The Rebel Jesus" by mainstream rock star Jackson Browne has been given a download release by House Of Heroes via Amazon. Said singer Tim Skipper, "We all fell in love with Jackson Browne's 'The Rebel Jesus' a few years ago and have been wanting to cover it for a while. This year was the perfect opportunity. The song is so simple and profound, we didn't want to take away from that at all."

The band will also end the year in the studio as they start recording their newest album, this time with producer Paul Moak (The Blind Boys Of Alabama, Mat Kearney). The album will be released in the spring of 2012. CR

This song is so beautiful. I can't stand how commercial this Christmas holiday has become, especially here in America. It's about time we all listen to the real message of the Rebel Jesus....peace. Hopefully, it will get picked up by some mainstream radio stations....wouldn't that be a real gift? Enjoy!
