Caedmon's Call's "Ten Thousand Angels" to be used in Grey's Anatomy
THE HUGELY popular US TV drama Grey's Anatomy, in an episode to be aired in the US in January, will feature the song "Ten Thousand Angels" by pop folk team Caedmon's Call. In order for the song to fit the length of the five-minute scene, an extra minute of the song has been edited in. The lyrics state, "So lift up your heart now, to this unfolding, all that has been broken will be restored, here runs deep waters for all who are thirsty, love has come, love has come for you." Said Caedmon's Call's Derek Webb, "It's an honour to be asked to help carry some of the emotional weight of a powerhouse show like Grey's. I think the spiritual significance of a song like 'Ten Thousand Angels' will have some really special chemistry with what is bound to be an important episode in the season." "Ten Thousand Angels" is a bonus track on the group's current release, 'Overdressed'.
