Beyonce Knowles stars in The Fighting Temptations, being filmed by Paramount Pictures

A MAJOR feature film bringing together gospel and R&B talents is currently being filmed by Paramount Pictures in Atlanta, Georgia. The film. The Fighting Temptations, is about a hip-hop producer from Los Angeles who is called back to his Alabama hometown when his wealthy aunt dies to collect an inheritance but finds that to receive the money he has to form a gospel choir. The cast includes Destiny's Child Beyonce Knowles, Academy Award winner Cuba Gooding Jr, well-known Christian rapper T-Bone, singer/actress Melba Moore, veteran R&B group the O'Jays and gospel matriarch Shirley Caesar. The film is set to open in the US in spring, 2003. CR
