BROOKLYN-based, Detroit-raised singer/songwriter Sufjan Stevens has been getting considerable critical acclaim in the UK since Rough Trade Records released his third, 'Michigan', and fourth, 'Seven Swans', albums. Mojo magazine said about 'Michigan', "A pocket masterpiece that begs decoding, but no less enchanting for its loose ends," while 'Seven Swans' was described as "blissfully executed missives of faith and love - both spiritual and corporeal - anchored by Stevens' spartan banjo-led arrangements." CR
