Scottish songsmith Steph Macleod returns with 'Deliverance' album
CRITICALLY acclaimed Scottish singer/songwriter Steph Macleod has released a new album, 'Deliverance'. Said the songsmith, "It's a collection of my old folk songs. Most of them were written in the homeless hostel where I lived when battling alcohol and drug addiction; some of them were written afterwards when I met my good wife, started to play the folk circuit in the UK and Europe; and some are about close friends, family, and those I love. There's also a collaboration with Cross The Border's Stoo Nicol. We penned, produced and recorded the track 'City Life' in my Loft Studio. In fact all but one song (the old recording of 'Circles' from 2007) were done at casa Macleod. Most of the songs are live takes with added instrumentation and/or vocals overdubbed." The album is available for download via http://vibedeck.com/stephmacleod.
