A TWO CD box set featuring crossover gospel pioneers The Staple Singers has been released by Ace Records. The compilation 'The Ultimate Staple Singers: A Family Affair' is the first ever retrospective covering virtually the group's entire recording career from 1953 to 1984. The project features repertoire from numerous record labels including United, Vee-jay, Riverside, Vanguard, Epic, Stacks, Curtain, Warner Brothers and Private I. CR
