Teen pop star Stacie Orrico continues to gain mainstream popularity worldwide.

AMERICA'S newest Christian pop star Stacio Orrico has been making waves around the world with her self-titled debut album which has now sold over one million units worldwide including certification of double platinum in Japan. Stacie is currently number 47 in the UK album charts with her second single "More To Life" currently charting at number 12.

An interesting observation on Stacie's latest hit was made in the chart commentary dotmusic.com. It read, "The way she is being marketed is quite interesting as she doesn't exactly have the looks to be marketed as a sex kitten and also has her past as a Christian singer to contend with (like it or not that can be construed as a negative on your CV). Instead she is painted as the voice of youth, writing her own songs about such worthy topics as believing in yourself and always looking to the future. I'm not convinced that the average single buyer wants to be preached at in this way, so much as they want to hear a good pop song."
