Soul Survivor event announce expansionary plans

YOUTH EVENT Soul Survivor have announced a new five day worship conference, A Passion For Your Name. The event will be held on 22nd-26th August at Shepton Mallett, Somerset. Said director of Soul Survivor Mike Pilavachi, "We're thrilled to be able to have such extensive time dedicated exclusively to growing practical skills, understanding of and growth in worship." Tim Hughes, Soul Survivor worship leader and writer of "Here I Am To Worship", commented, "This new event is to serve worship leaders, pastors, vicars and frankly everyone who has a passion for worship from the UK and beyond. We will focus on worship as a lifestyle, worship as evangelism, worship and holiness, plus worship and healing."

The conference will also look at the practical dimensions which impact everyone involved in worship including worship leading in the local church, small groups and as an individual; plus workshops on working with a band and writing and introducing new songs to a congregation.
