Dave & Jess Ray release EP to aid people in southern Sudan

A SIX-SONG EP by husband and wife duo Dave & Jess Ray has been released to raise funds for Aid Sudan. All proceeds from the sales of 'Music For The Radio' will go towards purchasing hand-held radios, which will enable people in southern Sudan to access the Gospel, as well as vital community information. The project was produced by Scott Williamson (Lincoln Brewster, FFH). One of the songs on the EP is "Asinita", inspired by a Sudanese woman who impacted the couple during a mission trip to Sudan in 2008. The Rays visited a village that had been decimated by a tribal raid. Asinita, wife of a local pastor, had material possessions consisting of only six chickens, one of which she gave to the mission team as a parting gift.
