California's Starflyer 59 will have his eagerly awaited album 'Slow' release on 17th June
THE ALTERNATIVE rock band fronted by Jason Martin, Starlyer 59, who
have been recording albums for Tooth & Nail Records since 1994,
are set to release a new album with the company. Every project the
band have released, with the exception of one independent album in
2013, has been issued by Tooth & Nail. Speaking about the
'Slow'album Martin said, "It's just different. The lyrics of this
record are more of a reflection on being a middle-aged adult instead
of a 20-year-old kid talking about a girl he likes." Starflyer 59 have no
plans to tour. Said Tooth & Nail's boss Brandon Ebel, "I'd love
for Jason to play a live show now and again, but you know, beggars
can't be choosers."
