As I Lay Dying's Tim Lambesis arrested on murder plot charge

THE CHRISTIAN music world has been left reeling with the news that Tim Lambesis, vocalist with highly regarded hard music band As I Lay Dying, has been arrested on suspicion of attempting to plot the murder of his estranged wife. Police in California said the 32 year old musician had tried to hire an undercover detective to kill his wife Meggan. Said a police spokesperson, "The information came to us late last week. We acted quickly on it. I believe that we averted a great tragedy." Last year As I Lay Dying - who take their name from a 1930 novel by William Faulkner - released their sixth album, 'Awakened'.
