Pop Connection schools project to be released Easter '09
MOVATION producer Zarc Porter is currently working on tracks for the debut album by schools ministry Pop Connection. The Innervation Trust's Andy Silver has developed the Pop Connection ministry where he goes into a school and over a week trains young people to sing a batch of songs to backing tracks provided by Innervation. At the end of the week these are recorded with the choir and released on a special-to-the-school CD. Zarc Porter and Mark Pennell are now writing new songs for a "general" release which, as well as the Pop Connection touring choir, will feature such singers as Shell Perris, Lucy West (formerly Lucy Britten), tbc and others. It is hoped to release the new project at Spring Harvest '09.
