Esquire magazine give unexpected plug to CCM act Mark Schultz
CHRISTIAN music continues to garner mainstream attention in the US, with Mark Schultz recently nominated by Esquire magazine for "saddest song ever". Citing the song "He's My Son" from Schultz's self-titled 2000 album, which pictures a father asking God to spare a dying child, the publication reckoned the singer "makes Harry Chapin sound like Raffi."
