Southern gospel pianist dies in Houston
48 YEAR OLD Southern gospel pianist Roger Bennett died in Houston on 20th March from complications resulting from a long battle with leukemia. Bennett was well known for his years as the pianist for the hitmaking group The Cathedral Quartet. After The Cathedrals' retirement in 1999 Bennett, along with fellow Cathedrals member Scott Fowler, formed the quartet Legacy Five.
