Hope Records to be launched in US
VETERAN progressive rock keyboardist Rick Wakeman is launching his new Hope Records in the USA. His and Hope's other artists' material will be released through Asaph Records of Santa Ana. Rick will be performing his powerful oratorio 'The New Gospels' in Southern California for five major performances during Easter week. Joining the musician for these performances in the US will be his son, Adam Wakeman, world-class tenor Raymon Remedios and British actor Garfield Morgan. Each of the concerts will be performed as a benefit with all proceeds going to ASSIST (Aid to Special Saints In Strategic Times), a charity run by Rick long standing friend journalist Dan Wooding.
The March 29 Calvary Chapel of Costa Mesa concert will be broadcast
live across America on the Calvary Satellite Radio Network and also on
the Internet on LightSource on AudioNet. The Internet event will also
be making history, as it will be used as a "virtual benefit concert".
This is believed to be the first time this has been done in a live
concert.
