Creed's Scott Stapp working on memoir with David Ritz

THE LEAD singer of mainstream hitmakers Creed, Scott Stapp, has been signed by Tyndale House Publishers to write his memoir. The book, to be published in October this year, is being written with well known author David Ritz, who has previously written books on Ray Charles, Marvin Gaye and Aretha Franklin. Said Tyndale House's Carol Traver, "We couldn't be more excited to be working with Scott. He has such a phenomenal story-rock n' roll, religion, fame, scandal, love, betrayal, addiction-it's all there-and masterfully written. The manuscript is raw, very candid, and extremely compelling."
