Gospel singer Rance Allen has released his first in seven years
LEGENDARY GOSPEL singer Ranee Allen, who recorded pioneering crossover albums for Stax Records in the 70s, has released his first album for seven years. 'All The Way' for Tyscot Records was released Stateside on 25th June. The singer, who is the senior pastor at New Bethel COGIC in Toledo, Ohio, recently spoke to Billboard magazine, "I have so many young people around who express their love for me for being the old man who paved the way. They make me feel as though they were able to take from me and my brothers and what we've done over the years. I believe I've got something they're going to enjoy. There are one or two worship songs, music for quartet lovers and three or four tunes for the young generation - even those who are into rap. There's one remake of a song we did in the '80s titled 'Cease Fire'. Detrick Haddon guests on 'Hold On' and we did a song he wrote called living Witness'."
