California's Hearts Like Lions release "Pretty Little Phase" single
THE ROCK band from Long Beach, California, Hearts Like Lions, have released a single "Pretty Little Phase from their forthcoming album 'If I Never Speak Again'. Said the band's Stephen Ramos, "'Pretty Little Phase' is about accepting who you are. I've noticed a lot of people I've been around want to be liked by everyone, so they start changing who they are. We all struggle with wanting to be liked, but this song tells people, 'you are yourself because you are yourself. Who you are is special, and it will ruin it if you start acting like someone else.' A lot of us need to find that within ourselves and feel confident in our uniqueness. How do we encourage people in who they are? We don't need to impress others to fit in, and this song is an anthem proclaiming that."
