Glasgow's Tim Kwant releases electronic worship album
A GLASGOW-based artist and producer, Tim Kwant, who experiments in both acoustic and electronic music, has released his first worship album, 'Raqad' (an Hebrew word meaning to skip about, to dance or to leap). Wrote Kwant, "In 2000 an encounter with God in the surreal lands of India lead to a change in my icy heart towards worship music. Instead of it being the irritating music that I had to endure at the start of the service (being a slight music snob), or pieces of dubious theology that I had to scrutinise, it became of vast importance in my relationship with God, it was a gateway to joy and freedom in the Spirit that I had never really experienced before. Over the last two years I have slowly created this my first worship album."
